TLDR : Answer Summary
The standard fee for extending a visa in Thailand, including the Covid extension, is typically 1,900 baht. However, there may be additional costs associated with obtaining a work permit and a Non-B visa, which can total around 5,000 baht according to some comments. It is important to note that working without a valid Non-B visa and work permit is considered illegal.
alright any way you look at this you're working illegally, period end of story.
There is no middle ground. you either have a Non-B visa/extension AND a valid work permit meaning you can work OR you don't. You need BOTH the correct visa and a work permit to legally work
You can't work once you've applied for a work permit until you get it, you can't work while you're waiting to get the paperwork to apply for the Non-B visa
ALL extensions inside the country no matter how long they're valid for are 1900baht.
Not sure what you are trying to say but as land borders are open you can travel to a neighboring country, the closer you are to a land border the more likely you are to be rejected for a unable to travel extension.
