TLDR : Answer Summary
Australians can enter Thailand under the visa exemption rule, allowing for stays of up to 30 days without a visa when arriving by air. There is no official limit to the number of times you can enter Thailand this way in a year, as long as you provide proof of sufficient funds (20,000 baht or equivalent) and have onward travel arrangements.

There is no official rule limiting 30 day visa exempt entries by air. I would say as long as you have proof of 20K baht (or the equivalent) in cash and proof of onward travel you should have no problem entering the country on visa exempt entries

You might get a 'why u come many time' type questioning though, but just give them straight answers (assuming you're not doing anything dodgy, lolz!) and, as Tod says, have your 20k baht and onward travel in hand
