How many months of bank statements are required for a Thai visa application from Germany?

Hello everyone,

How many months of bank statements did you submit with your application? 3 months? 6 months? I’ve had 800k ฿ in my account for the past 4 months, but not 6 months ago. That’s why I’m asking.

I am applying from Germany.

Thanks, everyone!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The duration of bank statements required for a Thai visa application varies by embassy. While one user recommended submitting 6 months of statements showing a closing balance of more than 500,000 baht, another shared that they successfully submitted just a current overview from their bank without providing detailed statements. Others noted that some embassies, like Malaysia's, require 6 months, each with the minimum balance. The specific requirements can depend on the embassy handling the application.

can you send a link where you find this Information with 3 months in Taipei?

Anonymous participant i applied in Taipei and got my DTV from there. You do not need 500k THB for 3 months. A final balance of 500k is ok, submit 6 months of statements. You will find posts of others approved saying the same.

You will find many posts of approval inc mine where a final balance of 500k was submitted along with several months statements. You do not need 500k for 3 months to get approved in Taipei. Taipei embassy also emailed to confirm this before i applied.

True, that is where i got mine..

Depends on the embassy.;Malaysia requires 6 months, each month must have a balance of 500k. I submitted 6 months in Taipei, with just a final balance of 500K. Many embassies are similar to that. Where are you applying?

Was it smooth in Taipei?

I applied in person last Dec just before it went online, as they did same day approval back then. It was ok, they're particular about paperwork but as long as you give what they want you will be ok. I had to have a brief interview to clarify my job but that was fine. My experience in full is posted in the threads.
