Should bank statements for a Thailand eVisa be ordered chronologically or most recent first?

I see this as a minor detail, but with stories of visa rejections for seemingly minor errors, I'll ask anyway...

When merging bank statements into one document for submittal on the evisa site, is it better to have them in chronological order (Nov-Dec-Jan) or most recent first (Jan-Dec-Nov)? I just imagine an agent seeing January on the first page and stamping rejected before scrolling down to see December and November.

Also, do they want all 5 pages of each statement or just the first page with balance and summary?

TLDR : Answer Summary
This discussion centers on the best practices for submitting bank statements during the Thai visa application process, particularly focusing on whether to arrange the documents chronologically (older to newer) or with the most recent first. Users generally recommend submitting bank statements in chronological order to avoid potential rejection due to an agent's quick glance at the first page. The conversation also touches on how many pages of bank statements are needed, with opinions varying between requiring all pages versus just the first page showing the balance. Additionally, participants discuss different visa types and the documentation criteria for each.

It depends if you are doing the 800k or 65k monthly income method as each month would need the page with your salary/pension deposit

Attach it all together in a pdf file & attach then it takes the iffs & butts out of the equation then youve given them enough,i dont see what this proves though as you've still got to open a bank account over there to show you've the funds or am i missing something .

I used a page for each month that showed the balance at the end of each month so they could see i had the money in the account over 3 months

I uploaded three months of salary payment slips, not bank statements. You can also use three months of pension payment slips. If you use only bank statements, upload three months and clearly highlight the incoming payments to the account.

so it has to be ending balance or just showing that you have incoming flow of money that exceeds to required amount?? Iโ€™ve been so confused about this because my brother is in Nigeria and heโ€™s trying to get his visitor visa

It depends on the basis you are applying under, as there are different options. For a Non-Immigrant O visa, there are two alternatives, either documented monthly income of at least the equivalent of 65,000 baht per month, or a lump sum of 800,000 baht. You normally submit three months of documentation. If you apply based on monthly income, each month must meet the minimum amount. If you apply based on a lump sum, it is usually sufficient that the ending balance meets the requirement. For a DTV, immigration and embassies often expect the funds to be โ€œseasonedโ€, typically for at least three months. For a standard single-entry tourist visa, it is usually sufficient to document funds equivalent to about 20,000 baht via a bank statement.

ah, I see. That makes sense. I'm not receiving pension yet, so I would just be showing that I exceed the sufficient funds requirement.
