You should be fine.

If you're bouncing with Malaysia there are no reports of people being denied entry (at least not yet 🙂 )

your entry/stay history is hardly one that is living here on back to back visa exempt entries or covid extensions.

You are highly unlikely to be asked for the 3 proofs (or asked anything at all)

If they ask for proof of funds, it's CASH only, no bank account. Onward travel by bus might work as long as it's TO another country (not just to the border town on the thai side) and lodging I'd make a booking on agoda rather than showing a lease but as I said you're unlikely to be even asked for any of those three things.

Add on question: coming back in, assuming I'll need "proofs" .. 20,000 cash, proof of lodging (lease ok?), Proof of onward travel... Can this be bus (I'm going to have to leave by bus to buy my education visa once my paperwork comes back from MOE)? Or needs to be air? Can it be shown on phone or does it need to be printed?

I was hoping to have my education visa sorted before my extension ran out, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
