How Many Days Can My Friends Stay in Thailand After a Border Run from Kanchanaburi?

@Peter *******

heed the advice you've been given. There is no need for them to slog all the way to the Kanchanaburi border with Burma to get 30 more days,.

As

@K**

said they can go to the immigration office and get a 30 day extension on their 30 day visa exempt entry for 1900baht.

After that, if they need more time they can go bounce out and back by land for a new 30 day visa exempt entry.

I'm guessing you mean a 30 day visa exempt? They go to the local immigration office and pay 1900 baht for a 30 day extension.

Tourist visas are for 60 days, not 30. How many days in Thailand they get with crossing the border and coming back depends on their nationality. If they are entitled to visa exemption they get 30 days which can be extended once to 30 more days at an immigration office.

Which passport do they have?
