We (Canadians) have a 6 month multiple entry tourist visa which we extended at immigration for 30 days (after our first 60 day stay). Can we use the Kanchanaburi / Myanmar border crossing to get another 60 days? And what is the best way to process this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Canadians with a 6-month multiple entry tourist visa who have extended their stay by 30 days can indeed cross the Kanchanaburi/Myanmar border to obtain another 60-day entry into Thailand. It's advisable to either go personally or use a visa service to assist with the crossing. The process may involve paying a fee to a visa agent and should be straightforward as the immigration at the border is tightly controlled.

This company runs to the Phu Nam Ron border with Mynamar every day from Bangkok. You won't have any problem getting another 60 day entry stamp bouncing out and in there.

yes you can. You can either go by yourself, or use a service that

links to frequently in the group (I’m on mobile, so I don’t have the link). If you go by yourself to Kanchanburi, at the border, you’ll pay a visa agent 960THB for each one of you to take you across no-man’s-land, to the Myanmar immigration office, and back to Thailand. If immigration allows you to leave, you’ll be allowed to return.

The border is tightly controlled, and there is no scams or anything else like that.
