TLDR : Answer Summary
Individuals can perform a '90-day out and in' visa run at the Kanchanaburi border, similar to other borders like Mae Sai. The process typically involves exiting Thailand, paying a small fee (around $10 USD or 500 baht), getting stamped out of Thailand, entering Burma for a brief period, and then returning to Thailand to get stamped back in. This can provide either a 30-day visa exempt entry stamp or reactivate a multi-entry visa.

I'm just guessing but I imagine it's like the Mae Sai - Tachiliek border with burma up north.

You get stamped out of thailand pay $10USD or 500baht, get stamped in and out of burma and then stamp back into thailand.

You can totally do a border-bounce there to get either a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp OR to activate another entry on a multi-entry visa.
