How long has the DTV visa been available in Thailand?
Has anyone had this DTV visa for more than 2 years. Only just been told about it
Answer summary
The DTV visa was introduced in July 2024, making it less than a year old. Multiple users confirm that it has not been available for more than two years, as it was established just recently. Additionally, some comments suggest that the DTV visa is not advantageous for retirement purposes compared to a traditional retirement visa.

It’s not a good visa for people wanting to retire. Retirement is much better.
