How long does ‘pending awaiting approval’ status last?

I submitted on Saturday, had to provide additional documentation:

1. Letter from employer.

2. Boarding pass and stamp showing I left Thailand.

I’m applying from the UK.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The duration of 'pending awaiting approval' status can vary, with users experiencing different timelines based on additional documentation requests. While some reported waiting up to 7 days for decisions, it's important to note that when new documents are submitted, the processing clock might reset. Users recommend checking the Embassy's website for updated information.

Go to the Embassy website, read visa section.

When providing additional papers the clock may start over from 0

tell them you are entering by land border then they don't ask for a plane ticket.

I know 😂🤦‍♂️ I paid an extra £100 for a flexi ticket, but I guess worst case if you get rejected you can still visit on a visa exemption for 60 days

I don't understand. You're not supposed to have been to Thailand before to apply for DTV.
