Hi everyone!

I’m going to apply ED visa in Ho Chi Minh and I have a question to someone who already did it. When will I get back my passport? On the official website of the embassy they say, that it will take 2 days. But I don’t understand, for example, if I will apply on Monday, my visa will be ready on Wednesday or only on Thursday?

In January I had the same question because the web site says indeed that it takes two days. I even wrote them an e-mail back then and they replied it was just one day, which proved to be correct. When the reply arrived, though, I had already booked my flight + hotel for an extra day in HCMC, so that was suboptimal, but Saigon was definitely worth staying another day. ;-)

you apply in the morning and pick up your passport on the next working day in the afternoon. As explained on their website: 2. Visa application result will be at the next day afternoon. If applicant submits on Friday or the day before holiday, the visa application result will be on Monday afternoon/afternoon of the day after holiday.
