TLDR : Answer Summary
The processing time for applying for a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) to Thailand varies depending on the embassy location. Some users have reported receiving their E-visas in as little as 2-3 days (e.g., London and New York City), while others mentioned longer processing times of 3-4 weeks (e.g., Los Angeles). It's important to note that the validity period usually starts from the issuing date, not the entry date, meaning that applicants won't lose time while waiting for the visa.

Its normally valid for 90 days when recieved and doesnt start until you enter country so you dont lose anytime

It's valid for 6 months from the date of issue (you're talking about the SETV)

Multiple entry tourist visa starts from issuing date, not entry date.

Single entry tourist Evisa gives you 90 days to enter and starts your 60 days on entry date, mate.

Cheers 🍺

E visa should only take a couple of days. You can check the status of your application on the website.

It depends on where you're applying from. Some embassies are faster than others. For example London usually takes 2-3 days where as Los Angeles is known to take 3-4 weeks.
