Has anyone used the same day service in Los Angeles to get a 6-month METV? Would love some advice!

I believe that is typical...more efficient in person than processing via mail. I did the retirement visa there recently but those take two days instead of one. Limited parking next to the LA Thai consulate but plenty of free parking in the neighborhood ... just watch the signs on Mondays or Tuesdays for no parking due to street cleaning.

I got a METV there last year. I just submitted the paperwork as normal fully expecting to get the visa the next day but I was told to come back in the afternoon the same day. I cannot say if that was typical or unusual (perhaps because it wasn't very busy the day I applied?)
