TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the processing time for a Thailand eVisa they applied for 5 days ago. Community members suggest checking the specific embassy's website for processing times, as they vary by location. Some share personal experiences, indicating that processing can take from a few weeks to a month. There are reminders to be patient and some users suggest considering alternative visa options upon entry.

Mi smo čekali ravno mjesec dana. Predali zahtjev 6. septembra. Jedna viza odobrena 1. oktobra, a druga 6. oktobra.

Nema pravila.

What does the website of the embassy you applied through say? Every embassy has different processing times and even different visas have different processing times at embassies.

the Thai E Visa Official Website is a central website used by all Thai embassies worldwide. One of the first questions you answer is where you are physically located. This directs your application to the Thai embassy in that country or the embassy in a neighboring country responsible for that country. Each embassy has a different processing time. For example, if I was in USA and selected Washington DC, that embassy would take about a month. However, if I was in Vietnam and selected Hanoi, it would be roughly a week.

they can send a request for additional documents at any time and when they do, when you submit the new documents, it resets the clock to day zero.

- to clarify, it is 5-10 business days and Monday was a Thai holiday, so unless you submitted last week, Monday doesn’t count and it has been 4 days since when they say 5-10

if you want to know how long it takes, you need to access the website of the Thai Embassy of your country, which processes our E-Visa application. They will mostly tell you how long it takes in average, for the visa to get issued. You will NOT find the answer to this question on the Thai E-Visa Website. You need to look on the embassy Website

that is not the EMBASSY website. You use evisa to apply through a specific embassy. You selected the embassy as the first question in the application.
