How long does it take to get a new French passport at the French embassy in Bangkok?
Hello, how long does it take to get a new French passport through the French embassy in Bangkok ? Does anyone have the experience and can give me an idea of the procedure ? TIA

It will take around 1 month now. However, you should book the queue very early too.

Je l'ai refait l'annee derniere, RV en 3 jours et passport recu 12 jours apres. Donc un peu plus de 2 semaines entre la reservation du RV et la reception du passport. Procedure super facile, il te faut l'ancien passport et une photo d'identite.

actuellement il faut un mois minimum pour le rv. Mais ce serait super qu’après ce soit aussi rapide merciNico ********

OPBen ça dépend ce qu on appelle quelques jours… On est le 30 mai et donc il faut 35 jours pour le 1er rv le 4 juillet … et comme je veux 2 rv il faut encore un peu plus

ca doit dependre des periodes 🙂, je l'ai refait au moment de Noel. Mais actuellement, sur le site de l'Ambassade Il faut seulement qq joursAdrien **********
Sur le site de l'ambassade ils donnent 2-3 semaines pour avoir un rdv et 3-4 semaines pour le passeport. Mais c'est tout indicatif... ca serait en effet bien d'avoir l'experience de quelqu'un.

Déjà concrètement, à ce jour, il faut plus d’un mois pour obtenir un rendez-vous sur le site de l’ambassade. Alors 3-4 semaines pour obtenir le passeport, ça me paraît utopique… En France, les retours d’expérience évoquent plutôt des délais entre 4 à 6 mois! 😫Adrien **********
