Just back from KL with my new Tourist Visa. Easy and nice place to get it.

Be aware that soon the date will be arranged on line. Also the doc will be sent this way.

Annoying about the questioning of immigration officer at the airport: "Second TR visa this year. Do you have a Thai gf? 😁

Were there applicants for Non B visa?

Did they receive it?

I'd be glad if you can help.

Thank you

That does seem plausible, Tod. And/or the immi boss is more of a hardliner. Not looking forward to my next encounter :)

they seem to be far more picky than Suvarnabhumi is. I wonder if it's cause the budget carriers use Don Mueang :/

yes, she is lovely, and caring, and thoughtful, and a big surprise she finds time to put up with me. but, i learned not to even joke about things like infidelity. she doesn't think joking about it is to be done. another friend told me if his, thai wife, even has a dream about him with another woman, she is mad at him all day. now, how can one fix that??? but the trade off is that, my wife, is as loyal as one could hope for. and for me, thatz important. nothing like a little infidelity to ruin everything good one has. just not worth it, to me, at least. never been like that. happened to me, once, never liked it that much, so am unwilling to foist that on another human being. not moral or anything like that, at all, just like treating people right, especially wives. jb

am sure only u and others on this site will hear of any of this. i know wife. she wood not be pleased by even joking about it. i have learned this the hard way. thai women, at least mine, don't have much of a sense of humor about that stuff. so, i try to keep it peaceful at home. i sleep better that way. lol jb

absolutely correct thing to say. like i said, only in my head. wen i go through immigration, i take off my jewelry, wear nice clothes, shower, smell good, be friendly, have my wife\translator with me, (not at airport since she is thai citizen, but at immigration office in udon thani) and generally try to appear as milquetoasty as possible. can't hurt. lol jb

It was a woman, I was wondering to ask if it was a formal proposal. Anyway I decided to smile and just respond: I love your country officer.

Cheap flights, just 2 days to get the passport back, they dont request for any extra doc as financial statement of your bank account. On the other hand amazing offer to eat all different sort of cuisines around the world.

Did you notice any sign that said when they're going to online applications and queuing while you were there?

I just got a paper within my passport mention that soon they will change to online system, not dates showed. I arrived half an hour earlier to give doc and to pick up the passport. After they open I was waiting no more than 15 minutes in both cases. Just mention I was waiting 1 hour and 30 min to walk thru immigration at kl airport so watch out to dont miss the plane back. If you need any extra info let me know.
