How early can I apply for my O retirement visa extension and what documents do I need?

okay here is a FOOL PROOF way for you and everyone else to tell IF getting a year extension resets the 90 day reporting

When you get the extension inked into your passport and they hand it back ask yourself

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝟵𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝗽𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝟵𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁?

IF that answer is YES, (they did give you a new 90 day report receipt) then they DID reset the 90 days and you go by the new receipt they gave you

BUT

IF that answer is NO, (they didn't give you a new 90 day report receipt paper) then they DID NOT reset the 90 days and you go by the paper you had in your passport.

actually, if this is your first annual extension from a 3 month Non O to a year, in my experience recently the 90 day requirement kicks in 90 days after the renewal date, as confirmed by the note stapled inside my passport

Im just about to do my first after being in Hua Hin for over 6 months on tourist/Non O visas as a result.

, no. You have to do them separately, but possible to do them on the same visit to the immigration office.
