Has anyone here changed a tourist visa to a marriage visa at Chaeng Wattana in the last couple months? If so, I could use some advice. I have searched the group, but I want more recent information...
1) Can I get a multiple-entry marriage visa from Chaneg Wattana?
2) Regarding proof of funds: can I just update my bank book with my current balance, or is there a form letter that banks use for this? If I walk into my bank tomorrow to get this letter, will they know what I'm talking about?
3) Did you provide copies of every page of your passport? I have added pages to my very-full passport, so this equals 36 copies for me.
4) How many photos did you show of you and your spouse at your house? I presume these must be printed and not simply on your phone.
5) Were you visited by police in the intervening 15 day period?
6) Regarding TM30: I went to Koh Samet two weeks ago, and now I'm trying to get my landlord to re-register after my return (which is a headache and a half). It's my understanding that once that registration is complete, my registered address will match the address on my application (and the map to my residence). Once this matches, I will not have problems with my visa application. Is this correct? Do I need to show a receipt for this?
7) And finally, how long were you at Chaeng Wattana? Did you go morning or afternoon?
Thanks for your help! This would be even more nerve-wracking without the advice and expertise in this group.
