Hello everyone, are there any Malaysians or Singaporeans on here who have successfully gotten the DTV? Would really appreciate some help on how to fill in our names, since our passports do not differentiate between family and given names. The machine readable zone recognizes our entire name as a family name 😅

Answer summary

A Malaysian user shared their experience successfully applying for the DTV visa, explaining how to fill out the application despite the lack of a middle name in their passport. They advised to enter their first name/given name and leave the surname/family name field for the entire name as recognized by the machine-readable zone.

I am a Malaysian who successfully applied for a DTV visa. I fill up accordingly. First Name/Given Name and Surname/Family name. We do not have a middle name, so leave it empty.
