Just for info: I applied in Colombia (Lima embassy) as a tourist (I'm an Italian citizen) and got approved for DTV in less than 24 hours.

Did you really get the DTV visa for 5 years of multiple entry into Thailand?

Relax, that agency was probably trying to take advantage of you confusing Colombia and Peru as if they were the same country.

By the way, are you sure you got a visa for Thailand and not for Laos or Vietnam? 😁

Some places just trying to sell their overpriced DTV or ED visa packages. Of course people are free to do any kind of course on any visa - including a simple tourist visa.
