Will an incorrect expiry date from the photo of my passport affect my DTV visa application?

Dec 12, 2025

I applied for a DTV visa last week.

However, something is bothering me. When I uploaded a photo of my passport, the pop-up window automatically recognized the expiry date as 1935. Of course, I manually entered 2035 in the input field. Do you think this will cause any problems? Best regards

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reported a potential issue with their DTV visa application where the expiry date of their passport was incorrectly recognized as 1935 by the system's OCR, although they manually corrected it to 2035. Comments from other users suggest this is a common issue, and many have successfully corrected it without encountering problems. They advise double-checking all information entered.

The website forum encourages you to triple check the data and correct it. It's just for this reason because the OCR can misread.

Happy Thailand Some applications were cancelled because the date read from MRZ differed from the date entered manually.
