Just a quick update on my TM30 online registration, arrived in country yesterday, downloaded the Section 38 app this morning, registered & immediately got ID and password via email, logged on and had to change my password first then registered my arrival & address and Bobs your uncle ... all done and dusted! I also checked and it's logged on the system so all is good. 🙂😉 I really didn't expect it to be so easy.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their experience successfully registering their TM30 online upon arrival in Thailand, highlighting ease of use with the Section 38 app, immediate receipt of login credentials, and confirmation that the registration was logged in the system. Other users ask questions about registering for family members, obtaining official documentation, and technical issues with nationality selection in the app.

The nationality box doesn’t seem to work for me on either desktop browser or mobile. Should the correct nationality be written as: USA, U.S.A., US, United States. It seems to want to cross reference what I enter, but I can’t get it to propagate an answer. The rest of the form functions ok.

If you are a U.S. passport holder use 'American' from the list of nationalities.

One plus; it beats scrolling all the way to the bottom!

Hi Rob

Do you get any copy of the TM30 from the app?

I’ve done the same as you for a tenant but she needs a doc for new visa application

Sorry I don't know and no need to as I just have to register myself. Seem like a complete waste of using the app but I suggest you go to the IMM office and ask. 🤷‍♂️

I have tenants and they need TM30 documents

AND if you have registered, gotten the 'confirm this email' email, but didn't get a user name and temp password, you go back to the register tab and click "check status"
