Applied via London on Monday. I was asked for more documents (including a different picture with formal wear!) on Tuesday morning. I submitted these Wednesday and was approved at 23:20 Friday night which surprised me as it’s outside of office hours!
Just wanted to share here as I’ve been using it for information throughout the process. I’ve printed it out and fly back to Thailand in two weeks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their successful experience getting a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) approved from the London embassy. They applied on a Monday, were asked for additional documents (including a formal picture) on Tuesday, submitted the required documentation on Wednesday, and received approval late Friday night. They plan to travel to Thailand in two weeks and advised others to print out the visa approval email for airline check-in and present it to immigration upon arrival. Comments include inquiries about the visa type and sharing experiences with processing times from other embassies.
Ah that’s really frustrating. I hope it comes soon! It’s my home embassy so I wonder if that helped, also I’ve heard London is quite efficient compared to some
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
