TLDR : Answer Summary
After obtaining a Non-O visa based on marriage and arriving in Thailand, you should handle your extension of stay through your local immigration office rather than through an e-visa process, which is managed by embassies. Additionally, it's advisable to establish a Thai bank account in your name shortly after your arrival, and you may need a Residence Certificate from Immigration for that.

ff you don't already have one you'll need a Thai bank account in your name only as soon as possible (get a Residence Certificate from Immigration first)
was just going to say Pete, go to the local one in Udon Thani, I think there is a new office there now. Can you let me know there what there requirements are too.
I would also call in at your local immigration office to ask for their list of requirements, as there are sometimes small differences between offices. You do not need an agent, the immigration officers are helpful and all you are doing is providing the information they request. Good luck.
