TLDR : Answer Summary
To change your Non-O visa with a retirement extension to a marriage extension, you do not need to start over with a new 90-day Non-O visa. Instead, you can simply apply for the marriage extension by changing the reason for your current extension during your next application. However, if you used the banked money method for your retirement extension, ensure that you meet the seasoning requirements for the entire year before applying for the new extension.

one thing I did want to mention is

IF you used banked money method to meet the proof of funds for your current extension last time you got it, you have to meet the seasoning requirements for the WHOLE year before you apply for a new extension for a new reason.

Meaning, if you used 800K baht banked as your proof of funds you need to keep that balance at 800K baht for 3 months after your extension was granted and you can't let the balance go below 400K baht the rest of the year until you apply for the new extension based on marriage :)

good to know thanks. I may use income method but will still follow aging requirements for this years extension maintaining full 800,000 for 3 months after last extension.

all you would be doing is changing the reason for your extension from one based on retirement to one based on marriage when you do your next extension application. You would NOT need a new Non-O or anything, you had a Non-O and now you're on yearly extensions based on retirement from it. All your doing is changing the reason for your extension to marriage to a thai.
