TLDR : Answer Summary
When you obtain a Dtv visa in Thailand, the 90-day counting starts from the day you arrive in Thailand. You can report your status up to 15 days before the 90-day due date; there’s no need for an exact reporting on the 90th day. If you leave Thailand and then return, the 90-day period resets, and you will need to count 90 days from your new entry date. Required documents for the 90-day report typically include your passport and any relevant visa paperwork.

If you leave country the 90 days is reset. Yiu count the 90 days from the day you enter Thailand each time.

You can report 15 days before due date, you don't have to do the report exactly 90 days. Don't sweat it too much.

The day of your entry is your 1st day.
