Complicated question. My daughter and I have dual citizenship (south Africa and Israeli). Our visa is in our south African passport. She is a student and I am her guardian.
1. My daughter's south African passport expires in April 2022
2. Embassy said it can take up to 1 year to get a new one.
3. I want to move our visas to our Israeli passports (more reliable)
4. QUESTION- How do I do this from within Thailand? Any way to do it without leaving the country?
Need creative ideas.
Thanks ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks advice on transferring their visa from a South African passport to an Israeli passport while in Thailand, as their passport is expiring soon. Commenters indicate that the only option to achieve this is to leave Thailand and return with the new passport, suggesting that for minors, fines may be waived if they overstay.
1. The only way to switch passports is to leave by air to another country, and return.
2. IF the child is less then 15 years old, the child can go on overstay. All fines and punishments are waived. If the child is under 18 years old, the maximum fine is 20K THB, however they will not be blacklisted.
3. If anyone makes a comment, please give details.

My friend has got the same problem...by the end of the day, he went back to Tel-Aviv and they transferred all his stamps+ visa from his German passport to Israeli passport...then he went to the Thai embassy in Tel Aviv(or Jerusalem, don't remember) and he got the visa he wanted
thanks but with covid so bad, quarantine rules I can't afford that option. If it was a simple go home have a vacation and return great. But it's quarantine on both sides
