Hi. Just got back from a language school after enquiring about an education visa. The very friendly lady informed me that I have 10 visits in the last two years and only 7 clean pages in my passport. She thinks there is a reasonable chance an application for an education visa will be denied.

She suggested that I get a new passport. I am from South Africa. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a new South African passport in Thailand? Or somewhere nearby.

Thanks in advance!

Answer summary

The author is considering applying for an education visa in Thailand but was advised that their passport may hinder the application due to limited blank pages. They are seeking information on whether it's possible to obtain a new South African passport while in Thailand or nearby.
