Got a new passport and need to transfer my stamp to my new passport. Also would like to get a tourist visa extension the same day so I don't have to travel to immigration two times. If I book an appointment online for my tourist visa extension, could they also do the transfer of stamps during that appointment or is transferring stamps a completely different counter/location? Is it possible to book an appointment online to transfer stamps?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To transfer your entry stamp to your new passport and apply for a tourist visa extension on the same day, bring both your old and new passports to the immigration office. At the Chaengwatthana office, you can handle both the stamp transfer and the visa extension at the same counter, and you only need to fill out a form for the stamp transfer. It's possible to get both done without an appointment, as they issue one waiting number for both services.

I’ve done this recently at Chaengwatthana. I went without an appointment. They first transfer the stamp to the new passport (same counter as extension, also only got one waiting number for both services). I had filled out the form for stamp transfer.

After that was done they called me again for the visa extension.

Take both. Easy.

As you are still on the entry stamp. That stamp cannot be transferred to a new passport. Bring both to apply for a tourism extension. They put the entry information into your new passport first to give you a 30-day tourism extension stamp in the new one.

they'll do all of it when you get the extension

take both passports show up to get the 30 day extension and they'll do it in the new passport and reference you entered on the other one

, better to ask at your local office how they treat those cases.
