Can UK passport holders still obtain a METV from Perth and what are the current requirements?
Hi I am planning ahead for next visa run and am considering getting a METV. Is it still the case that UK passport holders can get this from Perth. Also has anyone had experience of the latest requirements and proof you need please. I was planning on going to Perth in July so wouldn't have the 6months bank statements of £5000 if this is still the case or is it just satisfactory to show a balance of 5000. Thanks in advance.
Answer summary
The user is inquiring about the current process and requirements for obtaining a METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa) for Thailand from Perth, specifically for UK passport holders. They are unsure if the requirement of showing £5000 in bank statements still applies and whether it is sufficient to just show the balance. The user plans to travel in July and is seeking advice on the latest requirements.
