ORIGINAL POSTERI just got stopped at Phuket airport, I had been in Malaysia for a week, my second visa run. I got taken to the boss,. After much persuasion They very reluctantly gave me 30 days but no extension allowed. I was surprised as I have only done it once before, so watch out for that. Im going to Vietnam in 30 days, I just wondered about how simple is it to get a tourist visa there for Thailand? I have S. African passport.

School regulations are not the law. Schools are there to teach, not to make laws. But I guess you're right with you last reply. the reputation of S/A citizens seems to be messed up.

TR you can still apply in Yangoon, Vientiane, Savannakhet and Khota Bharu.

that is not correct. But SA need Police Clearance to apply for ED Visa.
