Posted a while back about South African's getting a non-B (employment at a company) visa in Malaysia.

Would really appreciate any info regarding the feasibility of going to Phnom Penh with a South African passport and getting the same visa from there instead (as I can fly in and out as opposed to Kota Bharu).

TLDR : Answer Summary
A South African passport holder inquiring about obtaining a NON-B (employment) visa for Thailand from Phnom Penh is advised that it typically takes about one month for the visa application process. Recommendations include also considering applying at the Thai consulates in Laos, such as Vientiane or Savannakhet, for potentially quicker processing.

You are out of luck :/ If you're hell bent on using Malaysia you use Kota Bharu. Why not go to one of the thai consulates in Lao (vientiane or savannakhet)?

In less than 1 minute: Opened Google, typed Thai Consulate Phnom Penh, choice option Services, sub option Visa for Thailand and got this If the applicant is not a resident in Cambodia, the application will be subject to approval from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, which may take at least one month.

Before you continue asking... you do know it'll take 1 month for you to get that visa from Phnom Penh, right?
