Hi - I'm in Ubon Ratchatani on a 60 day tourist visa; I am fluent in German (native speaker) and English (lived in Australia for the last 40+ years) and I wonder how best to find a job as an English (and/or German) teacher in the Ubon area - amd then to obtain a working visa ... and I have a bachelor degree in architecture and engineering. Thanks!

The user is seeking guidance on finding a job as an English or German teacher in Ubon Ratchathani while on a 60-day tourist visa, and the process to obtain a working visa afterward. Community responses emphasize the necessity of securing an employer before obtaining a visa and the usual requirement of holding a TEFL certificate or a related bachelor's degree. Suggestions include using websites like Ajarn.com and networking by visiting schools directly to meet with English department managers.
