Visa extension.

Hi everyone, I’ve been looking into the requirements for extending the VoA for 30 days (60 plus 30). However I’m a little stuck on the TM30. I’m travelling on a boat so I don’t have an address to register. Does anyone have experience of that? Thanks 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the process for extending their Visa on Arrival (VoA) in Thailand for an additional 30 days, specifically addressing issues related to the TM30 registration as they are traveling by boat and lack a fixed address. Commenters provide insights on extending the visa for the appropriate fee and suggest temporarily booking a hotel to facilitate TM30 registration.

It's not VoA as that is something completely different. Your visa-exempt entry can be extended for 30 days for 1900 baht and if I was you I would book in a cheap hotel one or two nights before and the hotel will ask for a copy of your passport which they use to register the TM30 online. Tell them you may need a copy (screen shot) of the TM30 registration but if they are uncooperative simply take proof of booking of the hotel you are staying.
