I arrived in Thailand at the beginning of January and got a visa on arrival for 30 days. I extended for another 30 days at the Krabi Immigration and I will be permitted to stay until the 7th of March (it would be 60 days in total since I arrived).
Now I would like to extend my visa for 30/60/90 days more. What kind of visa option can you think of for my case?
I heard about Covid Extension but, if possible, I would like to avoid needing a long-term rental agreement.
Thanks! :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently in Thailand on a 60-day visa from a visa on arrival and is seeking options for extending their stay without needing a long-term rental agreement. A relevant suggestion was to apply for a Covid extension, which allows for an additional 60 days without the need for a rental contract, provided a TM30 form is filed.
Covid extension doesn’t need a rental agreement, just a filed TM30 from your landlord/hotel. You’d get an extra 60 days. Last day to apply is March 25th
My actual accommodation in Bkk goes until the 9th of March. I think I will want to change place after. Can I ask my actual landlord for the filed TM30 to apply for the covid extension and then change accommodation in March?
, thanks for your support. I’ve just been to the immigration. Is it normal that they stamped 60 days from today and not from when my other visa expires (7th of March)?
if it’s your first covid extension then yes that’s normal because you’re “changing the reason” for an extension - from tourist to covid. If you were to get another covid extension it would be added on to your existing stamp. Some offices do seem to add it on, even for the first extension but most date it from the day you apply.
