TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your stay in Thailand for 30 days, you must visit your local immigration office physically; online applications are not permitted. Ensure you have your passport, a copy of your visa, a filed TM30 form from your landlord or hotel, a passport photo, and a payment of ฿1,900. The TM30 is for registering your address, not for extending your visa.
Extension you have to do at your nearest Immigration office. Can not do online

You need your proof of address and tenancy agreement or bought property agreement plus your visa. A copy of your visa and a copy of your last stamp date and a passport photo, plus your passport plus 1900 thai baht .
This sheet dated January 2024 is no longer in application.
We obtained our 30 day extension on 10th November 2025 from Hua Hin Immigration. Photo is no longer required. Face snapshot is taken directly at the counter of IO.
An added document is proof of stay such as hotel booking or leasing contract (original & copy)
For a 30 day extension you need to physically go to your local immigration office with your passport and a copy of a filed TM30 from your landlord or hotel.

TM30 is for registering foreigners address in Thailand. It’s something your hotel or landlord would do.
