TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can extend your 45-day visa exemption for an additional 30 days at your local immigration office. The process requires filling out a T70 form, providing passport copies, a passport photo, and proof of residency, along with a fee of 1900 baht. It's noted to prepare all documents beforehand for a smoother experience. In Bangkok, the Laksi Plaza office is recommended, but it's best to arrive early as there may be a daily limit on the number of extensions processed.

Personally no. Probably around 300 a day who do so. You go to Laksi Plaza floor 3 for an exempt extension. Some reports of a limit of 300 per day so probably best to get there early - like 8.30 or before. I have no first hand knowledge of the office just going by posts I see on here.

State what office you’d use. Some have slightly different requirements.

Come see me on Thursday. You’ll need a copy of your passport data page, a copy for your entry stamp (both signed) a photograph and a filled out TM7 (you can download prior or get there). If you don’t have photos or copies down one floor is the business centre and they’ll do them there for you. You don’t need a TM30 filed for a short term extension there. 1,900 baht and you’ll probably be done in 20 minutes. Forgot to mention the extension is 30 days. Added on to your existing stamp so no downside to going early.

opens 10am-12, then 1-3pm. Generally quiet but this time of year could be 10 people or more at any one time.

Easy. T70 form. Passport copies. Passport photo.

Proof of residency.

1900 baht. I was in and out in 45 mins. Just prepare everything. Put in a folded. Hand over. They call you back in for photo on cam for there I’d. Job done!👍
