Hey, I want to extend my stay in Thailand from my initial 30 days exemption for another 30 days but I have 2 questions.

My departure card stapled in my passport has info for an onward flight we originally booked. Should I keep the departure card in or take it out when going to immigration?

Second question is does it matter when I go to immigration to get the extended 30 days, I have exemption until 5th December. Is it better to go sooner rather than a day before? Thanks for your help

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user wants to extend their 30-day exemption in Thailand by an additional 30 days and is seeking advice on two points: whether to keep or remove their departure card that contains information about an onward flight when going to immigration, and whether it is preferable to apply for the extension sooner or closer to the expiration date.
