DTV holder here, now would like to apply for a teaching job. So: German national, master's degree equivalent (economics and political science), my English is close to mother tongue and my computer skills are top. Since last December: got a soft-power DTV (Muay Thai). Now I'd like to apply for teacher jobs on nice Thai islands - how is this possible with DTV? What could be done?
Anybody with experience in this regard - would be highly appreciated.
Thanks!
TLDR : Answer Summary
A DTV holder seeking to apply for a teaching position in Thailand can initiate job applications while on the DTV, but will need to convert the DTV to a Non-B visa and acquire a work permit before starting work. The process typically involves finding a teaching job, canceling the DTV, and having the school apply for the work permit. It's important to note that working on a DTV is illegal, and proper visa restructuring is essential. Applicants should also consider the competitive job market and ensure they have a solid plan before canceling their current visa.
