TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around obtaining a DTV (Digital Visa) for teaching English online while not teaching individuals physically located in Thailand. Participants confirm that it is possible to get the DTV, provided that appropriate documentation is presented. One user mentions they successfully received the visa and offers insight on the necessity of paperwork, specifically when working with platforms like Preply. Additional success stories from applicants through the London Embassy are noted, suggesting positive precedents for others looking to follow a similar path.
Thanks for your replies. I'm working on Preply, I do not have a contract. Any chance you could give me some more information on what you were required to show? ๐
from reading across multiple platforms of people's success and unsuccessful DTV applications, a lot of embassies are requesting to see tax returns. So of you don't want delays it's better to just include it in your submission.
