Hi all. I have just been awarded a 5 yesr DTV. As a UK driving licence holder, how can I apply to get a driving licence for a car in Thailand? I currently ride a 160cc scooter on an International Driving Permit. Thanks

About 4 weeks before you travel and you should be ok but when you receive your visa you have 90 days to enter Thailand and when you enter Thailand that's when you're 90 days visa starts
Once approved you have 90 days to activate it, once you activate it in Thailand you will have 90 more days here. Apply now just incase it takes a while to get it
Following as we are going beginning of December and want go for 90 days, jyst unsure when to apply, and is it a case with 90 day tourist visa ypu dont require a return ticket or am I best to book yhat anyway, if we are accepted for the 90 day non o visa?
Carol Samuel there is no 90 day tourist visa. The tourist visa is currently 60 days which you can get a 30 extension.
EDIT: I misspoke on the tourist visa. It is staying at 60 days, it is visa exempt that will probably return to 30 days soon. But the non o is not for tourism. Your best bet for 90 days if you are coming for tourism is the 60 day tourist visa and 30 day extension.
