TLDR : Answer Summary
Opening a Thai bank account with a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) appears to be quite challenging. Many commenters noted that it is nearly impossible without a Non-Immigrant visa, as banks typically require such documentation. There are suggestions to seek help from agents, but risks of having the account blocked later were mentioned. Additionally, for those traveling, it's important to print proof of the DTV visa for check-ins and immigration checks upon arriving in Thailand.

Seems to be a big roadblock to the DTV really being โ€˜comfortableโ€™.

Notwithstanding, the difficulty seems to have spread into the realm of new Non-O visas as well, from what I hear.

Thank You for your helpful report ๐Ÿ‘

Congratulations ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight โœˆ๏ธ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days

Even if you could with luck or the help of an agent, you may just have it blocked later.

@Minh *****
was your DTV Visa based on a Soft Power activity? If so, what kind of activity, where is it located, and the length of the activity submitted to get the DTV visa?

What Thai Embassy or Consulate did you apply?

What is your passport nation?

Thank you for your helpful reply๐Ÿ˜Š.
