Hello Thailand Visa Advice - And Everything Else community. Thanks for all the help so far.

I wanted to know if anyone here has gone through the process for a "90-day Non-immigrant B visa (conducting business)".

This is the visa usually used for taking a meeting in Thailand, but not for working in Thailand.

I have a legitimate company able to offer me a Letter of Invitation and any other documents required.

A couple of questions:

1) Can this be applied for at an embassy abroad? All or some? Currently I am looking at Hanoi.

2) What additional documents are required besides the invitation letter?

Thanks!

Dave

Hi
@Dave ******
, did you managed to get this visa successfully? I'm looking at the same option and would like to learn any practical information from you. Thank you

I don't think you need any visa to come to Thailand simply to conduct a meeting so I'm guessing there's more to your question. I think you need a letter from the company you will represent as well as the company you will meet with but it doesn't seem a normal thing to me, I'd be surprised if you could get any sort of extension in these circumstances so why bother?

I guess the visa run companies have turned you down then? Good luck with the non-b, I'd always assumed you needed paperwork from the company you will work at to get one.

A Non B visa is used for working in Thailand. You can apply at an embassy abroad but you’ll need paperwork from your employer to do so. Check the embassy website for what documentation they’ll need.

Hi
@Stuart ********
, I'm talking about the visa for coming to Thailand to conduct business (meetings etc.) but not to work for a local company. It's a subset of Non-B and is only 3 months.under section (2)
