ORIGINAL POSTER
Today submitted my Non O marriage renewal for 12 months at Lopburi Immigration office.

Was advised by the Office Manager that be no longer receiving Police visit at home for an interview.

Apparently a law has been passed that if you and your wife are over 45 years old it no longer a requirement for the police visit at home.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent update from a Lopburi Immigration office indicates that couples over 45 years old are no longer required to have a police home visit for Non O marriage visa renewals. However, experiences vary, as some individuals report continued visits regardless of age, suggesting that the practice may differ by immigration office.

The home visit is totally up to each Thai Immigration office. There are no requirements for it.

Most Thai Immigration offices no longer do the home visit.

apparently fraud in the immigration system is being more closely examined in recent reports of immigration office activity.
