Hello, I would like to ask you one question: I will come for holidays in December-January. I am going to land in Thailand on the 15th of December and I am going to leave on 13th of January (airplane takes off at 01:55 am of the 13th). Considering that 15/12-13/01 is exactly 30 days, can I be sure of the tourist visa or do I have to extend it to 60days?

Thank ou very much :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is asking if they need to extend their tourist visa for a 30-day stay in Thailand from December 15 to January 13. Responses clarify that the duration counts as 30 days, and if they have a tourist visa, it typically allows for a 60-day stay. However, they should ensure to clear immigration before midnight on the departure date.

Also, although I didn't count your days, just clear Immigration before midnight.

I calculate that as 30 days, you'll be leaving on day 30 so you won't need an extension. Do you have a tourist visa? These have a 60 day validity. Or do you mean a visa exempt?

If you counted out on a calendar every day, including arrival and departure - then you have to be gone before day 31
