Can I apply for a DTV visa with a flexible work contract or does it need to be one year?

I own a company in China and this is the contract i have to sign every year so i can apply for work permit. I write this contract by myself and sign it and put my company stamp before going to apply for work permit and visa. So it can only be a one year contract that’s the Chinese rules for permit application . I want to apply for the DTV so i am confused on whether the contract should be one year or what. Since its my company the contract can be adjusted based on my needs and use purposes

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the contract requirements for applying for a DTV visa while owning a company in China, particularly whether the contract needs to be one year like in their work permit application. Comments suggest that a one-year contract is generally acceptable, and if the user owns the company, they might only need a letter confirming employment details. There’s also a suggestion to make the contract open-ended.

If you own the company you don't need a contact just a letter stating who you work for, your title and that you have permission to work remotely. I just did this and got approved.

Is your plan to apply as remote worker or freelancer, or?

One year should be fine. Most contracts work yearly anyway.
