Hi everyone

My daughter 6 years old is on a ED visa - 1 year

She has left Australia for one month over Christmas

However when her one year visa was granted a note was placed in her Passport to report on the 29/1.

Given she has not spent 90 days in. A row in Thailand. Does it become 90 days after she returned in January?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether their daughter, who is on an ED visa and has been in Australia for a month, needs to complete a 90-day report upon returning to Thailand. It's clarified that the reporting requirement is reset upon departure, meaning the count for the 90 days starts anew after her return.

My 10 year old (UK citizen) has never done a 90-day and it's never been an issue when I've extended his stay. Maybe we've just been lucky.

The need to do a 90 day report is invalidated if you leave before the due date. You will start counting again at day 1 after returning to Thailand.
