TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, holders of a Non OA visa are required to report to immigration every 90 days. The initial report must be done in person, especially for the first report after entering Thailand or when returning after leaving. Subsequent reports can be completed online unless a new 90-day duration is initiated upon re-entry into Thailand.

Don't think to much. Make it online.

They accept or not. If not go to the immigration. If yes 😁

Yes, first time in person and the following you can do online as long as you don’t re-enter and get a new 90 days date.

not necessary. I did my online and there is a video from Thai bureau that states anytime. My wife showed it to me yesterday so we could avoid a trip to immigration and it worked and approved in hours on my first 90 day reporting

people have reported getting lucky. But you'll find many many more people that have been rejected with the notice for rejection stating it must be done in person. Each immigration office has their own policies and procedures.

Yes, you're still required to do 90 day reports. The first report must be in person, as well as the first report any time you leave Thailand and return. After those you can do it online.

You can report online anytime when it's 90day reporting. I did my first yesterday online and approved in hours . See for your eyes over people that claim to be experts...admin declined my post yesterday to pass this information on. They can't handle that goes against what they believe is the truth

then you were lucky. As immigration normally rejects these with the specific reason that the first one must be done in person and same after leaving Thailand and returning.

She's in Bangkok so she can do the first report by mail - no need for the long hike out to CW

Which is why doing it by mail is the best option. Follow the instructions and it's fail-safe. I use it every time
