Good afternoon, my daughter (italian National) is arriving in Thailand with 60 days tourist visa, she will stay a bit more than the 60 days, on arrival does she need to show exit ticket within the 60 days? I know this is the rule when you enter on exemption, not sure about with 60 days tourist (multiple entry). Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand on a 60-day tourist visa, your daughter is technically required to have proof of onward travel, although enforcement may vary. It's advisable to be prepared to show an exit ticket if questioned by immigration officials. Additionally, if she plans to stay longer, she should visit immigration to apply for a 30-day extension.
Unless she has an extensive history of travelling to/staying in Thailand, the chance she would be asked for proof of onward might be slim.
The rule is the same, you are supposed to have a ticket out within the approvable stay as a tourist.
IF she is asked for the onward travel ticket, it's totally at the discretion of the officer at passport control if he accepts the ticket within only the approved period, or allows the period with additional 30 days tourism extension.
they always or mostly check bc they are required to do so by Thai authorities. If an airline get someone to Thailand without a return ticket, they fine that airline.
