Do I need a re-entry permit for my METV when traveling to Vietnam and back?

I will go to Vietnam the 25th of december and come back 1st of jenuary. I have a METV. Do i need a re-entry permit or i can just go and come back without any additional procedure ?

What Date is of what importance to do the trick of the extra 2 months?

1- the Issue Date

2- the Enter Before Date

3- the Entry Date

Plus an extra 30 if you extend it at immigration inside Thailand.

, don't forget you can extend that last 60 day entry by another 30 days at the immigration office for 1900baht. If you do the bounces in and out of the country at the right time you can almost get 9 months of stay out of that 6 month visa :)

, yep, in fact you can even exit/re-enter on the exact day the visa expires and you'd be stamped in for 60 days. :) That's how that visa works
